'Fashion is my religion, Vogue is my Bible'

What a way to escape from a pile of Uni text books staring at you in the face! I call upon a girl's night out to release the frustration, the exhaustion and instead, bring out the liveliness and eccentric nature of our persona's. My girlfriend Paula and I decided to head out to Spice Market, which is renowned for their stunning and opulent Middle Eastern interior that epitomizes the exotic Egypt. Whilst sipping on Champagne and raspberry cordial, we wiggled ourselves to the dance floor for a perfect 'girl's night out!'

Lately, I have been sooo infatuated with camel hues, from my beloved Asos mid-length skirt to now my Colette one shoulder dress. I really think camel really brings out the nature of Autumn. So I teamed my dress up with a plum colored lipstick (which I have been searching everywhere for), a pair of feather earrings (love my feathers) and a matching clutch. What are your thoughts?

Much love,

Miss Couture Vintage X

Pampered, pretty, and polished!

Hello my fashionable ones,

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I sure am... My weekend has started off with a 2.5 hour pampering session that my best friend organised for me- it consisted of an 1.5 facial and back massage, a hair service (treatment, cut and style). Can I get anymore spoilt?

We first went to have lunch at one of my favorite Thai cuisine restaurant's at the arcade on Scott Al, walked past the amazing Degraves and simply couldn't help ourselves so we went to Lady Petrova's magical boutique and my absolute favorite: SHAG. Don't even get me started on the things my eyeballs fell in love with...

After our delicious meal, we treated ourselves to a drink at San Churro, and then made our way to 'Good morning salon' on Swanston st in Carlton. It was a chic and cosy salon, filled with vintage elements such as chandeliers, velvet couches, 80s wallpaper, and there was even a jewellery and wedding dress glass case.

Here are a few of our shenanigan photos...

P.s- thank you dearie for making me feel so rejuvenated and oh so relaxed!

(I am wearing my beloved Asos skirt again, Supre dress worn as a top, vintage pearl flats, Boho box bag, vintage rings...)

One day, you will be mine!
I love our stupidness!!!

Our refreshments... Mmmm!

Goldilocks!!!

Fairytale royal wedding...

After months of letting the world wait in suspense and the ladies racking their brain over which was the 'chosen designer', we finally got to see Kate Middleton's stunning wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Just as I predicted, she chose a very Victorian Grace Kelly design with lots of lace and a train tail which wasn't nearly as long as Diana's dress. The royal wedding was epitomized as every girl's dream- a beautiful dress, a wonderful ceremony, a horse carriage and a life filled with all luxuries and desires of the heart.

What are your thoughts on the royal wedding? I adored Kate's dress, envied Prince William's black, red and gold traditional costume, loved Pippa Middleton's figure-hugging bridesmaid and thought the Becks looked sensational (loved David's hair-do and Victoria's outfit).. Ok, so I am a sucker for a romantic happy ending?! Which woman isn't a hopeless romantic????
